A throwback jersey is a small time machine. Maybe it is the hockey sweater in a seventies colourway you remember from a frozen pond, or a basketball tank with your kid’s name and the number they wear on the school court. Whatever you order, this page explains how it gets from our hands to your door: how long each stage takes, what it costs (nothing), where we can send it, and what to do if something goes sideways along the way.

1. From your order to a packed parcel

Most of what we sell is personalised. When you type a name and number into the fields on a product page, that text is printed onto your piece after you order. Nothing is pulled off a shelf already finished. That is why we count a processing stage before the parcel moves.

Processing takes 1-3 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. An order placed on a Friday evening therefore starts its count on Monday. Processing covers printing your name and number, a last look at the spelling you typed, folding, and packing.

We print exactly what you type

We do not send a proof or mockup before production. The live preview on the product page shows how your name and number sit over the jersey image, and that preview is the final check. If you type “JONSON” when you meant “JOHNSON”, that is what goes on the back. Read the fields twice before you check out. If you spot a mistake after ordering, see section 5 below and our Cancel or Change an Order page, because you have 24 hours to correct it.

Orders with several pieces

A family order with four hockey jerseys, each with a different name, takes the same 1-3 business days as a single jersey in most cases. Each piece is printed separately, then everything is packed together where possible.

2. What shipping costs and how long it takes

Shipping is free. There is no threshold, no shipping line that appears at the last step, and no faster paid tier to choose. A single pair of crew socks ships free; so does a box of six custom baseball jerseys for a weekend softball side.

CanadaFree1-3 business days7-14 business days
AustraliaFree1-3 business days7-14 business days
New ZealandFree1-3 business days7-14 business days

To estimate your total wait, add the two stages together. In plain terms, an order usually arrives somewhere between 8 and 17 business days after you place it. Transit times are estimates rather than guarantees. Weather, peak holiday volume and customs checks can stretch them, and we cannot control a carrier once the parcel is in its network.

A worked example

Say you order a retro football jersey with “DAD” and the number 12 on a Tuesday. Processing finishes by Friday at the latest. The parcel then travels for 7-14 business days, so it lands somewhere from the second to the fourth week after you ordered. If you are aiming at a specific date, count backwards from the far end of that range.

3. Where we ship

We currently deliver to four countries: the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Checkout only offers addresses in those countries. If you live elsewhere, you are welcome to send the order to a friend or relative in one of them, but we cannot forward parcels on from there.

All parcels ship from the USA. We do not have a local warehouse in Canada, Australia or New Zealand, which is part of why international transit sits in the same 7-14 business day window.

PO boxes, military and remote addresses

If your address is a PO box, a military or diplomatic address, or a remote island or rural route, email us before you order so we can tell you whether it can be reached. Some carriers handle these differently and we would rather check than guess.

4. Following your parcel

When your parcel leaves us, we email you a shipping confirmation. Where tracking is available, that email includes the tracking number and a link. You can also look up your order on our Order Tracking page using your order number and the email you used at checkout.

What each order status means

ProcessingWe have your order and are printing and packing it.Changes are possible only within 24 hours of ordering.
Shipped / CompletedThe parcel has been handed to the carrier.Use the tracking link; scans may take a day or two to appear.

Tracking sometimes stays quiet for a few days after the first scan, especially when a parcel crosses a border. A silent tracker on day three does not usually mean anything is wrong. If it has not moved for a long stretch, write to us and we will look into it.

5. Getting the address right

The address you enter at checkout is where the parcel goes. Please include apartment or unit numbers, the correct ZIP or postal code, and a name that matches the mailbox or door buzzer. For Canadian, Australian and New Zealand addresses, double-check the province, state or region field.

Need to change it? Email support@jersa.shop within 24 hours of placing the order with your order number and the corrected address. The same window applies if you want to fix a typo in a name or number. After 24 hours, printing may already be underway, and once the parcel is with the carrier we can no longer redirect it. The full rules are on the Cancel or Change an Order page.

If a parcel comes back to us because the address was incomplete or nobody collected it, contact us and we will help you work out the next step.

6. Gifts and shipping to someone else

Lots of Jersa orders are gifts: a ballpark-style button-front for a grandfather who coached Little League, a ringer tee for a friend who still talks about one particular season. You can enter any address in our four countries as the shipping address while your own details stay on the billing side.

  • Use the recipient’s full name as it appears on their door or mailbox.
  • Remember the delivery estimate. Allow for both processing and transit before a birthday or holiday.
  • If you want the shipping confirmation to go to you rather than the recipient, check out with your own email address.

7. Orders with more than one item

We try to send everything in one parcel. Occasionally a larger order, such as several hockey jerseys plus a hoodie and caps, travels in more than one package. If that happens, you may receive separate tracking numbers and the packages may arrive on different days. Shipping on every package is still free. If one part of your order arrives and the rest does not show up within the estimated window, email us with your order number.

8. Parcels that are late, missing or marked delivered

Start by checking the tracking link and looking around: a porch corner, a building mailroom, a neighbour, or a parcel locker. Carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered a day early.

If the estimate has passed and the parcel has still not appeared, or tracking says delivered and you cannot find it, email support@jersa.shop with your order number and what the tracking shows. We will contact the carrier and work with you on a resolution. How a replacement or refund applies is set out on the Refund Policy page.

9. If something arrives damaged or wrong

Open your parcel when it arrives and check the print: the name, the number, the size tag. If the jersey is damaged, the print is faulty, or you received a different size or style than you ordered, take a couple of clear photos of the item and the label and email them to us. We will make it right. The process for sending items back is on our Returns & Exchanges Policy page.

Please keep the packaging until the issue is sorted, in case the carrier asks about it.

10. Customs, duties and taxes

Parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand cross an international border. Whether any import duties, taxes or fees apply depends on the destination country, its rules and the value of the order. We do not collect sales tax or import charges at checkout. If your parcel is held at customs or a carrier asks you for paperwork, contact us and we will help with the information we have.

Within the United States, the parcel does not cross a border, so customs does not apply.

11. Planning around seasons and events

Some orders come with a date attached: opening night of a rec hockey league, a fall tailgate, a reunion where everyone wears matching baseball jerseys, a winter holiday. The months before the end-of-year holidays are the busiest time for carriers in all four countries, and transit at the long end of the 7-14 business day window becomes more likely.

  • For team or group orders, collect every name and number before you check out so the whole set goes into one order.
  • Check sizes against a shirt you already own using our Size Guide, so nobody needs a swap later.
  • Order early rather than relying on the short end of the estimate.

12. Questions about shipping

Support is by email only, and we answer within 24 hours on business days. Write to support@jersa.shop or use the Submit a Ticket page, and include your order number so we can find you quickly. Many quick answers also live in our FAQs and Help Center.
